Artist : Judy Hong
Born in Beijing in 1973 to a Qing dynasty family, Judy Hong learned Chinese calligraphy and painting from her grandfather, a master of the art. Through calligraphy and abstract painting, this artist uses a variety of techniques, conveying a sense of strength and gentleness, originality and wisdom. Judy Hong wishes to perpetuate the artistic values of her native country, where harmony is born from the encounter between tradition and modernity.
